Description

Russo Modular delivered a record-breaking 3,000-square-foot, 6-unit factory-built modular restaurant to Whataburger in Gilbert, Arizona. Their latest commercial modular steel building represents the largest modular building ever produced at Russo Modular’s Phoenix manufacturing facility and marks Whataburger’s first modular location in Arizona.

This partnership began as Whataburger celebrated seven decades in business and reached the milestone of opening its 1,000th restaurant. With 1,000 stores throughout 16 states, the Texas-based burger chain sought an advanced QSR modular program that could support rapid expansion while maintaining their renowned quality standards.

Russo Modular manufactures, fabricates, and assembles every building component at their Phoenix warehouse facility before shipping to the work site. Their patented frame design maximizes usable space while the controlled manufacturing environment significantly reduces construction schedules and minimizes on-site disruption. This accelerated approach allows restaurants to welcome eager patrons much sooner while ensuring consistent quality across multiple locations.

The Gilbert project showcases Russo Modular’s 20 years of experience in custom manufacturing and fabrication, delivering the speed, quality control, and cost-effectiveness that makes their commercial modular buildings the preferred choice for expanding QSR brands.
